Nepal amasses natural, cultural, and historical riches dating back thousands of years. Kathmandu Valley, on the other hand, is the epitome of culture and history. The valley and its outskirts are popular for the pristine natural sites; lush forests, streams, high hills, wildlife, and adventurous terrain. The lush green forest, terraced farmlands, quaint villages, and cultural and historical sites are a few of the traits of Kathmandu Valley. The exploration of Namo Buddha whilst on the tour stands evident to these facts and is viable to travel aspirants all around the globe.

The 7-day tour begins in Kathmandu. After your arrival, you’ll embark on a full-day tour of the historical Kathmandu city. You’ll witness numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites and cultural monuments during the tour. The next day, you’ll drive up to Sundarijal which lies 25km north of Kathmandu city. Sundarijal serves as the gateway to Shivapuri National Park. You’ll begin the trek and advance through the lush forest and streams of the National Park. You’ll reach Chisapani, a quaint and discreet village just above the National Park. From Chisapani, you’ll head 12km northeast to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a popular hill station popular for its cool weather and magnificent views. After enjoying the beautiful sunrise from the local watchtower along with the panorama of Everest (8848m), Manaslu (8156m), and DorjeLakpa (6966m), you’ll head southeast to another popular hill station of Dhulikhel. The small hill town is popular for its old settlement, temples, and scenic getaways. From Dhulikhel, you’ll drive 12km down to Namo Buddha. Namo Buddha is a popular Buddhist stupa located atop a small hill. It is considered one of the most religious Buddhist sites south of the Himalayas and boasts a rich folk legend. After exploring the stupa and the locality, you’ll drive back to Kathmandu. Spring (March-June) and autumn (September-November) guarantee the best weather and accessibility.

    Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, one of our representatives will warmly receive you and bring you to your hotel. After checking in, you’ll meet your tour guide and discuss the tour. If time permits, you can go outside to take a stroll or to shop for essential trip gear, goodies, or snacks. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

      Today you’ll embark on full-day sightseeing of the historical Kathmandu valley. You’ll get to explore all the popular UNESCO World Heritage Sites including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, Pashupatinath, and Swayambhunath. These sites are the symbols of the cultural and religious prosperity of the valley. The guided tour will provide enough information on the cultural monuments, historical sites, and landmarks. Completing the entire tour depends on the time at hand. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

        After breakfast, you’ll drive 25km northeast to Sundarijal, a pristine waterfall site lying on the outskirts of Kathmandu City. Sundarijal is Popular for its large waterfall and Sundarimai temple, and it also acts as the gateway to Shivapuri National Park. Established in 2002, the scenic natural site is home to a variety of flora and fauna. You’ll begin trekking and enter the park. The uphill hiking will take you to the discreet village of Chisapani. Overnight stay at Chisapani.

          Today, you’ll make a short hike from Chisapani to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is a popular hill station located 35km outside of Kathmandu. The trek will take you through the lush forests, streams, rivers, and tiny settlements to reach Nagarkot. Nagarkot is popular for its cool weather, panorama of Everest (8848m), Manaslu (8163m), and DorjeLakpa (6966m), and cosy lodges. In the morning, you can enjoy the beautiful view of sunrise along with the magnificent panorama of the mountains from the viewpoint there. Overnight stay at Nagarkot.

            From Nagarkot, you’ll make a short trek to another popular hill station of Dhulikhel. Dhulikhel is a small settlement located atop the hill. The trail follows through the lush green forests and high hills. Once at Dhulikhel, you can enjoy the view and take photos. In the afternoon, you’ll take a drive to Namobuddha. It is a Buddhist stupa perched on a hill located 12km from Dhulikhel. It is considered an important Buddhist site south of the Himalayas. Also known as Takmo Lu Jin in Tibetan, the Namobuddha stupa holds a popular legend that a young prince encountered a tigress close to starvation and unable to feed her cubs. Overcome with empathy, the prince sacrificed his own body to the tigress to help her feed her cubs. Overnight stay at Namo Buddha.

              After breakfast, you’ll embark on a scenic tour of the locality and the Buddhist stupa. At the noon, you’ll drive back to Kathmandu. Once in Kathmandu, you’ll check into your hotel. You can choose to relax or go out to explore Thamel, a popular market area in Kathmandu. Here, you can also shop for gifts and souvenirs of authentic Nepali taste. Overnight stay at a hotel in Kathmandu.

                Today, you’ll bid adieu to Kathmandu city. Our representative will drive you to the airport approximately 2hr early to avoid any delays due to traffic congestion.
