Kathmandu Pokhara Tour Perhaps the two biggest cities of Nepal and equally charming in nature, Kathmandu and Pokhara, ooze undeniable temptation to travelers who seek to visit the country. Kathmandu, which has been home to glorious cultural prosperity since the medieval ages, is also the capital of the country. Pokhara, on the other hand, is what people call fantasyland. The ‘City of Lakes' is home to a number of tourist attractions that are simply breathtaking to visit.

6 Days Kathmandu Pokhara tour begins in the cultural city of Kathmandu, where the capital paints a picture of ancient Nepal with its old historical monuments and architecture, and at the same time, captures the unique city life of present-day Nepal too. The major attractions in Kathmandu are the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and are of tremendous religious and historical importance. The Durbar Squares, filled with ancient artifacts, palaces, temples, and museums, are a great reflection of Nepalese history and culture. Similarly, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath and Boudhanath stupas showcase the cultural and religious diversity of Nepal and the harmony that exists between them. On the second leg of the tour, Pokhara calls the participants.

Pokhara, which is 200 kilometers west of Kathmandu, is another spectacular city. While Kathmandu is culturally rich, Pokhara stands out for its natural beauty. Lying at the lap of Mt. Machhapuchhre (6997m) with several mesmerizing lakes in its vicinity, Pokhara is a serene location offering exceptionally beautiful views of the Himalayan peaks. Several iconic locations such as Davis Fall, BindyabasiniTemple, Seti River Gorge, Mahendra Cave, Peace Pagoda, and Phewa Lake, are not to be missed in Pokhara. Similarly, the glorious sunrise over the majestic Annapurna range at Sarangkot surely adds more glory to this short trip. The enthralling views of the Himalayas in the Dhaulagiri, Himchuli, Machhapuchhre, and Annapurna ranges are also a major attraction in Pokhara.
