Start your adventure as you get picked up by one of our company representatives from Chhukung. The steep trail ascends to the south and takes a twist at the Lhotse glacier. Walk alongside the riverbed and continue on a huge rock and zigzag route. Pass the moraine of Imja and the Lhotse glacier and get a beautiful view of the Nuptse-Lhotse wall. Later, you will be at the base camp of Island Peak. Set up the tent, and you can take a rest for a while. Once the camp is ready, make arrangements for your climbing equipment and prepare yourself for the next day. Overnight at base camp

To avoid strong winds, begin the climb to reach the summit early in the morning. Ascending from the base camp through many rock culverts, followed by a walk along the ridgeline that leads to the muzzle of the glacier. With the support of rope, now you can climb to the top which is completely filled with snow and ice. As you reach the top point, the breathtaking views of Mt. Nuptse (7879m), Mt. Lhotse (8501m), Mt. Amadablam (6856m), Mt. Cho Polu (6734m), Mt. Makalu (8475m), Mt. Baruntse (7720 m), and Lhotse Shar (8383m) can be witnessed.
