The highest and most adventurous marathon in the world, the Mount Everest Marathon is held every year from the base camp of Mt. Everest (8848m).

The first successful ascent of Mt. Everest by Late Tenzing Norgay Sherpa and Sir Edmund Hillary on 29th May 1953, so popularly known as the Tenzing Hillary Everest Marathon.

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, you will be greeted by one of the company representatives. You will be transferred to your hotel and a short briefing about the trek will be done in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu hotel

Today, you'll be transferred to the airport for the flight to Lukla. Enjoy a scenic flight of 35 minutes to the gateway of the Everest region. Upon reaching meet the rest of the crew members at the Lukla airport.

Then, the adventurous journey begins to Phakding walking through the colourful forests, and charming villages of the Sherpa people. Catch the incredible view of Kusum Kangaru before reaching Phakding. Overnight at teahouse

Begin your day trekking towards Namche bazaar, the main trading centre of the Everest (Khumbu) region. Pass through beautiful pine forest and village cross suspension bridge that take you alongside Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi River.

Then, ascend a steep trail before arriving at Namche Bazaar, the main trading centre of the Everest (Khumbu) region. Overnight at tea house

Here is the first day separated for the rest and acclimatization. Relax your body on this day. At the same time acquire knowledge about the culture, traditions and lifestyles of the Sherpa people. To acclimatize your body you will be hiking toward Everest View Hotel to observe the mesmerizing sunrise views over the Himalayas and also a glimpse of Mt. Everest. Enjoy lunch at the top where you're surrounded by the Himalayan views. Trek back to Namche Bazaar overnight.

The day begins with a steep climb to Kyanguma through the pine forests then further ascend to Tengboche as the trail might be a little difficult, but the rewarding views of Mt. Everest and other glimmering peaks relief your pain and provide a charm to your face.

The tree line of the Khumbu region becomes thinner as you gain more elevation. As you reached to explore the biggest monastery in the Khumbu region - Tengboche monastery. See how they pray every day and learn more about Buddhist culture. Overnight at teahouse

Crossing the suspension bridge over the Imja River, walk past small Stupas, Chortens and Mani walls making your way to the Pangboche village, the biggest settlement of Sherpa in the region.

As you walk onward from Pangboche the tree line decreases to a dry and deserted area. Dingboche is commonly known as "The Summer Valley" of the Khumbu region and has Mani walls and prayer wheels lined along with the village.

Witness the breathtaking views of the Himalayas before heading back to your cosy bed in the tea house. Overnight at tea house

Head to the Lobuche early morning after breakfast followed by amazing scenery of mountains. As this adventurous day starts, you will arduous climb up passing by Chortens with the beautiful scenery of Mt. Everest, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Khumbutse, Mt. Nuptse etc after hiking for an hour finally reach Lobuche. Overnight at teahouse

A beautiful thrilling day of this trek starts moving towards Gorakshep via Khumbu Glaciers. Enjoy lunch at Gorak Shep and then head to the base camp of the world's highest mountain. As you are reaching your dream destination the elevation also gets higher up to (5364m).

The trail is also amazing and surpasses through the terrain sprinkling rocks, moraines, streams and glaciers. Finally reached the Everest Base Camp located in between Khumbu glaciers.  Enjoy your day seeing the great view of the Khumbu glacier as well as the Khumbu icefall. Spend your time enjoying all the views that the base camp offers. Overnight at Base Camp

The main adventurous day comes today, so wake up early and be ready for the Marathon which starts at 7:00 am. In this race, there will be full marshaling, drinks stations, medical back up and supervision.

Marathon begins where short walks take you below near gigantic Khumbu Icefalls, there will be a short briefing with information regarding rules as well as the trails. Shortly after the first light, take your first running steps towards Namche along the amazing icy Khumbu glacier and back to Gorakshep with the most difficult trials that make your foot condition so bad and it's painful the whole route.

Upon reaching, the well-trodden trail, it becomes easy to run and pass the Lobuche, Thugal, Dingboche and then a final descent via Hillary school and the village of Syangboche.

The world's highest race, Everest Marathon ends as you reached the Namche Bazaar, the last destination of the race where you will be awarded certificates and gifts in gratitude for taking part in this great adventure of a lifetime Everest Marathon.

Retrace the same trail and walk through forest areas. Pass along the monasteries and beautiful Sherpa villages, You will reach Lukla.  Then, you will have an evening yoga session. Overnight at teahouse
