DO NOT say "it's too expensive"!! A person cannot regret what they have not experienced, so book this Heli-tour and I can truly promise that you will not regret it!! Save every penny you can find just for this experience of a lifetime!!

Getting most experienced trekking guide from the team!

They are really experienced in organizing trekking tour in Nepal. Me and my friends went to Langtang valley trekking and we were getting best guidance and care from our guide (special thanks to Kumar). Our guide and porters were willing to offer help and assistance during the 7 days tour, and would also actively explain the culture and history in that area.
The scenery up on mountain is really extraordinary. Be sure to wake early in the morning to see the clear sky and mountain at Kanji Gompa!

7 Day Mardi Himal Yoga and Trekking

Excellent yoga and trekking trip with Ganesh yoga teacher and Subash our guide, couldn’t have asked for more, the yoga in the mornings and evenings was varied as to which part of our bodies were aching from the trekking, Ganesh also gave us some painful but oh so good Thai massages for aching limbs. Subesh was a fantastic guide and porter and kept us laughing along the way, accommodation was basic but fine and the food in tea terraces was substantial, good Napoli food I would advise to bring toilet roll and wet wipes as shower facilities were limited. The trekking was more difficult than we expected however the amazing views along the way kept us going and on the final day rising at 4 am to catch the sunrise was just magical. On the way down from the top we decided to come down in one day, not for the faint hearted as we trekked for 10 hours, it was worth it to spend an extra day/night in Pokhara as it’s such a beautiful place, the Gurkha Military museum is really worth a visit, we decided to catch a flight back to Kathmandu as travelling from Kathmandu to Pokhara on the way here was a long and tiresome journey by bus, we were glad we took the bus on way here, but by flying back you save a good deal of time to see more of this wonderful country.

The great experience I have had so far!

I have had the great experiences in ABC trek tour with Santosh tour guide and the company set-up during this trek. This’s my first time in Nepal and the high mountain trekking and doing this as a solo traveler as well. Despite of some worried about the trip before I came to Nepal, this trip was amazing with me. The guide was so caring me and help me understand more about Nepalese’s living, culture, young generation perspectives and also take to me lots lots of nice pictures 🥰🥰🥰. The foods on the trekking tour is quite good for me. I like soup (I tried almost type of soup here 😂), fried rice & fried noodle. Some guess bourse also have machine coffee and ginger lemon tea with honey is so good.
If you have plan to go to Nepal and trekking, I highly recommend you choose ABC Trek if you like the trail that combines between the forest and the mountains. And go with Santosh is never boring trip as well 😂😂😂

Trip of a lifetime!

What an amazing experience. From the second I messaged the company inquiring about the trip I was guided through the whole process by real professionals. Especially in the midst of the pandemic, which made everything a bit more complicated, I can’t say enough good things about how helpful and flexible the staff was. From helping us prepare for the trip, to picking us up from the airport and taking us to our hotel, to the trek itself, everything moved seamlessly. Raj, our guide on the trek, was amazing. After our trek we had an extra week and our other guide Ashok, suggested we ride motorbikes across the country. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. I now consider Raj and Ashok great friends. If you’re reading this review and you’re thinking about booking with Himalayan Recreation, I recommend 100% that you do it. Trip of a lifetime!

Nature at its best

We had such a great time! The canoe ride and walking tour with the most knowledgeable guide were incredible! The hotel staff were most helpful and the tour operator went out of his way to accommodate our requests. I can highly recommend this trip

Excellent Trekking company & Guide

I and my 3 friends were planning to go to Nepal for a short trek and I was confused about what to do because there are so many companies. I found this Himalayan Recreation Treks via my friend and she suggested I travel with them because of their best-ever service. After I started to inquire about Himalayan Recreation through their website and a tour manager from that company Mr. Bishnu Thapa responded to me within 15 minutes and suggested I for make my best trekking itinerary and I did as he said. He recommended we trek in Poon Hill for 6 days and told us this is one of best viewer trekking in Nepal I choose this plan for 6 days with them, They provide us very experienced guide Mr. Bharat who speaks really well English and is well known about that all place. Bharat Made even better our Nepal trip. We were really satisfied with this all our services and guides, So now I would like to recommend this company because of their highly professional team who can make your tour plan according to people's needs and desires. Next year I and my other 7 friends are coming to Everest Base camp and I have already spoken with Bishnu Thapa to arrange this trip and should give us the same Guide Mr. Bharat.

Annapurna Circuit Trek - Yes, hire a guide...

I had planned on doing the Annapurna Circuit solo when I first arrived to Kathmandu and refused to hire a sherpa to carry my backpack. After all I live in Golden, CO where the mountain are big, I’m quite active and used to high altitude. The hotel I stayed at in Kathmandu convinced me to hire a guide and I’m glad I did. Bishnu Thapa was a blessing. He knows the people and tea houses quite well and has such a charming and calming personality. Hiking in Nepal is quite different than Colorado. In Colorado we hike mountains on trails that gradually ascend the mountain which is far less work than in Nepal where the people hike straight up the mountain. We didn’t go very far the first day however the second day we climbed and climbed for if I remember correctly 6 or 7 hours to Poon Hill. There were moments when I wondered why in the world anybody would hike straight up the mountain and felt like turning back. Bishnu encouraged me to keep going and I’m glad I did. It was so beautiful He not only encouraged me to keep going he moved along at my pace. Once I got past the second day I wanted to go for longer periods of time each day than was in the original plan. Having a companion to hike with who is knowledgeable about the culture was a great decision. Thanks Bishnu! I was there in November 2013 and will return.
