From start to finish, everything was seamless. Our guide, Narayan, was absolutely amazing—so knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely cared about our well-being at every step.

The Everest Base Camp trek is challenging, but with the right company, it becomes the adventure of a lifetime. The accommodations were clean and comfortable, and the food was fresh even in such remote areas. The views of the Himalayas were breathtaking, and we felt safe and supported throughout.

The cost was also very reasonable for what we got. The sunrise at Pikey Peak felt like a dream—Everest shining golden in the early morning!

Best Everest Base Camp (EBC) trekking Experience with Himalayan Recreation

We've been back to our home country safe and sound after 14 days trekking to EBC. I felt good about my 13-year-old daughter's stamina and mine as well; there were many limits I thought I could not bear but in the end we could still make it.

Small and slow steps as long as we refused to give up. And for all that made these possible, I'd just want to send thanks to our guide Season and our porters Prakash and Arjun.

Season is well-knowledgeable, supportive, kindhearted, and extremely patient. The porters were also extremely helpful and kind.

Everest Base Camp Trek - Amazing experience!!

Had an amazing experience in EBC this November 2024! All logistics was taking care of perfectly, didn’t need to worry about anything.

I corresponded with Bishnu via email prior to come and he patiently replied to any questions I had.

A trip of a lifetime with the "best crew" Himalayan Recreation, who went above and beyond for us. Our guide Raj (and later Ram) were absolutely fantastic—I felt well and truly in good hands the whole way...and our porters just blew my mind every day.

100% success rate for our group of 10 on this hike. What a feeling and memory to treasure with fellow NZ'ers and our 2 adopted Singapore'ans. Thanks team

Fantastic Company to do EBC Tour

Everest Base Camp 15 Day tour. I joined a group of 8 other New Zealanders to take part in what became a fantastic, memorable expedition to EBC. Right from the start of booking our tour Bishnu from Himalayan Recreation was on hand to answer any questions we had.

Thereafter, from meeting our guide, Raju and later Rams we knew we were in safe capable hands. Both guides have in depth knowledge of the trek and the history of the area.

Our guides and porters kept our safety paramount and ensured all our needs were catered to. We became like a family in a very short time.

Himalayan Recreation went above and beyond when our flights to Lukla were delayed by providing us with accommodation and a meal at no extra cost, and they were still around to assist us with any issues even after the tour had officially ended.

I highly rate Himalayan Recreation and their guides and porters.

My trek to Everest Base Camp was incredible! Himalayan Recreation enabled my experience to be one of a life time. I was part of a group of 8 people, all from NZ and we didn't know each other until we arrived in Kathmandu!

We had a WhatsApp group created for our trip and the company Manager, Bishnu Thapa, answered any pre-trip questions that we had. Being a female and travelling to Nepal on my own, I felt so well supported by them, their was no issues picking and dropping me off at the airport, and arranging extra accommodation.

Anything we asked of them they would facilitate. The day the tour started until it ended, the company did everything to make this trip awesome! I had complete trust in the groups guide, Reju and Ram, who had fantastic knowledge of the area and we always felt that they treated us as "number one!" the porters were also fantastic. They are special people.

The company is extremely well organized, professional, great communication and has high expectations of their employees. I cant recommend this company enough!
