Fantastic EBC helicopter experience from start to finish

The helicopter flight to Everest and Kala Pattha was one of the best experiences of our Nepal trip. The views were incredible, but what really stood out was how well organized everything was.

The Himalayan Recreation team was professional, helpful and easy to communicate with throughout. For anyone who has limited time in Nepal but still wants to see Everest and the Himalayan landscape up close, this is a fantastic option.

An unforgettable experience in the Himalayas

I am impressed with how smoothly everything was arranged. The team at Himalayan Recreation communicated clearly with us and made sure we knew what to expect before the flight. The views of Mount Everest and the Khumbu Himalayas were absolutely spectacular. It was a special experience and a wonderful way to see the Everest region in a short time.

A wonderful way to experience Everest

The Everest helicopter tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Nepal. From the early morning pickup in Kathmandu to the flight over the Himalayas, everything was very well organized. Seeing Everest, Lhotse and the surrounding peaks from the air was something we will never forget.

The Himalayan Recreation team was friendly, responsive and made the whole experience easy. We would happily recommend them to anyone who wants to experience Everest without committing to a long trek.

Excellent support throughout our Kailash pilgrimage

We joined the Kailash Manasarovar Overland Tour from Kathmandu and were very happy with the organization provided by Himalayan Recreation. From the Nepal–Tibet border crossing to Kerung, Saga, Lake Manasarovar and Darchen, each part of the journey was carefully coordinated.

The highlight for us was completing the three-day Kailash Kora, including the challenging crossing of Dolma La Pass. Our guide and support team were attentive and made sure we understood the schedule and arrangements each day.

We also appreciated the assistance with transportation, accommodation, permits and meals during the journey. For anyone planning an overland journey to Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar, Himalayan Recreation provided professional support throughout our trip.

A well-organized Kailash Manasarovar Overland Tour

Our 16-day Kailash Manasarovar Overland Tour with Himalayan Recreation was a memorable experience. The journey from Kathmandu through Kerung and across Tibet to Saga, Lake Manasarovar and Darchen was well organized from beginning to end.

The team handled the permits, transportation, accommodation and daily logistics very professionally. Our guide was helpful throughout the journey, particularly during the high-altitude sections and the three-day Kailash Kora.

The views of Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar were incredible, and having the journey arranged as an overland trip allowed us to experience much more of the Tibetan landscape. We appreciated the clear communication and support from Himalayan Recreation throughout the trip.

Trip of a lifetime with Himalayan Recreation!

I signed up with Himalayan Recreation for the Everest Marathon and Everest Base Camp package. It was the most amazing experience of my life! From the moment I contacted the owner Bishnu, I knew I chose the right company to guide me on this adventure. Excellent communication in the months leading up to this trip. All questions were answered and the price was great.

Everything described was delivered and then some! I was met at the Kathmandu airport and taken to a great hotel in Thamel prior to the trek. Airfare to Lukla was included along with transfers. My guide / porter Subash met me and gave me the best possible service, friendly guidance with excellent English, and made the entire trek memorable! Every accommodation and meal were completely taken care of. Every detail of the marathon was included. Post race, the trek and trip back were just as awesome! Bishnu even met me and took me to a nice dinner on my last night in Kathmandu if you have any thoughts about an EBC trek or anything else in the area and want the best service-do yourself a favor and use Himalayan Recreation!

Amazing EBC / Marathon Tour!

I just returned from the Everest Base Camp Trek combined with the Everest Marathon tour. The race was May 29th, 2026.

I booked the trip through Himalayan Recreation and had the best experience of my life!

The owner / operator Bishnu was such a pleasure and professional to deal with from the early planning stages up through the return trip to the airport. EVERY detail and then some was taken care of and the entire 14 day experience was carefully planned and executed. My guide /porter Subash was amazing and made the whole incredible journey a memorable one!

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Himalayan Recreation to anyone looking for a reliable reasonably priced Himalayan adventure!

Well-Organized and Memorable Everest Base Camp Adventure

I completed the Everest Base Camp Trek in May 2026, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The breathtaking Himalayan scenery, challenging trails, and unforgettable sense of achievement made every step worthwhile. A special thanks to my guide, Buddha, who was knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly helpful throughout the journey, always ensuring our safety and comfort.

I would also like to thank Bishnu, the Managing Director, for his excellent hospitality and professionalism. He even treated our group to a wonderful meal, which was a thoughtful and memorable gesture. I highly recommend this trek and the team to anyone seeking an unforgettable adventure.
